Here we are... Boardwalk Hotel and Suites. It's really nice! I could live here...
Maybe I'll move here and get a job with Max!

What a beautiful morning!

My little girl saw this guy and said,
"HEY! He's digg'n up our money!" I said, "Who is that guy"

I went out at 11:00am and had my butt kicked by high tide. I lost my water bottle and even my shorts. They were torn right off of me. Luckily, I had another swim trunk underneath. That's no way to start a day now is it!

Well welcome aboard. Sorry to say that unless things shift down there soon, the beach is fairly target-deprived right now. It's out there...somewhere. Or UNDER there, somewhere.

I will say this though...in my 5 years of detecting these beaches, the hotel you're staying in the THE PLACE to start your hunt in front of. And maybe stay there too. MANY of the best finds I've made have been right there in the wet sand and shallow water in front of that hotel. It's my best "hot spot". I think it's a combination of things...being one of the most expensive places there (in season), the flood lights that have more people out there round-the-clock than any other place, and the location to the pier and the only waterfront parking lot. All of those factors (plus the fact it's pretty much the center of the action as far as the "resort strip" goes) make that area the best hunt spot.

Good luck out there.

Weekend is full of birthday parties and dinner guests. How long you all staying? The Boardwalk will have flood lights on at night so you can detect and actually see everything. Good luck!!
