driving from the airport to the resort we saw whales along the shoreline and lots of surfers:thumbup:

Tomorrow morning we are going on a complete tour of the island by helicopter. This is where then made Jerrasic Park.

I can not post the HI Def videos from this computer, not enough horse power to edit but I did take this video with my Vado on the big island. This valley was just beautiful and this video does not do it justice. The next day we did an entire island flyover, over the volcano and all, including some amazing video of this valley and many more.

More later :D

I love the videos, makes me feel that I am there with you folks. Kelley (Texas) :)

PS: Will you be posting more videos when you return home...like the one showing the whales?

Hey Buddy,

Don't use it all up OK?

My wife wants to take me there and I would like to enjoy seeing some of that beauty too!!:)

Aww, go on and make some great memories for yourselves,

CJ

Hope all has gone well for you guys since the foot problem. Trip of a life time for sure. Hope you got some whale shots if they were close enough. Enjoy yourselves.

we will be going out on a boat for a whale watch in the next couple days. We were setting at the table eating, at the resort we are staying at and watched whales off shore. Of course we were not close but almost everywhere we went we saw whales.

We went on an incredible drive yesterday that it is beyond me to discribe properly but I will try later with better videos but what it was was a drive from our resort north on a nice road. It gets narrower and narrower until it is really a one lane road, a narrow one lane road that goes to a little village of Kahakuloa. Look it up on the web! There is a mountain on one side and a hundreds of feet drop on the other and no guard rail.

The road is so narrow that there were times when you passed another car, they usually watched for you coming and looked for a wider spot and stopped. The wider spots were hard to find and on occasion you had to fold your mirror so they would not hit! That is no exaggeration at all:surrender:

I have a bunch of video along that road but it is all in HD but I did take some Vado videos in a couple places to show the scenery/

we just set up a trip for tomorrow that will get us close. I am uploading a bunch of videos right now to youtube of our flight today. they are Vado shots and nothing as good as the Sony but it is all I can work with on this laptop. It will give you guys an idea what we saw though

It appears that you folks were on top of a mountain...just a fantastic view. It amazes me how you could see the rain in the distance in these videos. Thanks for taking the time to post them for us to see...I loved them. Kelley (Texas)

My buddy was asking me about one for his road bike and I suggested it and sent him a few of your clips. I think he is ordering one for
himself. Just wanted something small that he could put on the bikes and if it fell off, not out much....
That water sure looks inviting. Have you tried to hang 10 yet? Are you going to take the bike down the mountain ride?

Later George
