after another, it's been very dry around here so the rain is most welcomed for the farmers.

One of these storms had very fast and twisting winds, my neighbor has been working on his garage, poor fella is out of town right now so I can't get ahold of him to let him know some trees fell on his garage :(

We had some a few days ago, but not enough. Texas has lost almost a third of it's hay crop. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

Rain in enough quantities to grow thw grass. And then enough dry weather to cut and bale it. I think that this will probably be the best year for hay in a long time.

All the best

weeks go by with no rain, then it pours!!! My roses all have black spot so bad, that I am about to give up. It's too hot to work on them in the day time, even at 6:00 a.m. it's 97 degrees, then in the evening when the sun goes down, the dang mosquitos will carry you off. I'm going to just wait for some cooler weather.

Cowboy, have you all not had a bunch of rain fromt he last hurricane?? I thought it was close to you all. How far is Padre Island from you and Debbie??

We got about six inches of lightning and thunder and 1/4 inch of rain. The storms looked bad on TV radar, but actually produced more noise than rain.

Padre Island is down on the Gulf coast, starts at Corpus Christi and goes down the coast to the Valley. It is approximately three and a half hours from us to the Northern part of Padre Island. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)
