I cut up each entry from a piece of paper, put them all in a soup bowl, then drew a name. It had " earthlypotluck" on it. He chose the name Garrett MFT (Multiple Frequency Transmission)

The name chosen was strictly coincidental. I have never had any discussion with anyone at Garrett Metal Detectors about any possible new detector coming out or any technical specs regarding such.

Thanks everyone for participating.

It was fun to see the different names for a future Garret detector. However, I would like to see a multiple frequency unit by Garrett no matter what it's called (hint hint)
I can now say I own something from out-of-this-world

Congrats on the win.

PS I would like to see multi Freq also

Congrats on the win and a cool name for a new Garrett.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Congratulations ... :throw:
