We had a good night.

Brian only woke up once, around 3 am, for a pain pill. He slept until about 9:15. His DR. appointment is at 10:30 today and we know what the result will be...to schedule surgery to put a rod in the bone. The rods are a blessing, they strengthen the bone and help keep it in place in case he fractures it again.

I posted his X-ray on my photo site. www.pbase.com/photodug. Click on Brian's summer. The password is gdd1999. If you are squemish, don't look. My knees turned to jelly when I first saw it. The doctor said the fracture is typical of a twisting type of fracture.

Brian's spirits are unbelievable! His outlook sure makes it easier on us.
