We got to go out and hunt a little!! No silver this time, but gold will do just fine. :)

I have been working 12+ hour days for a couple months and doing paper work in all my spare time, but today I said "To heck with work! We are going huntin'!!"

We hit an old school ground area where we have done good in the past. Nancy went to an out of the way corner of the grounds that was the site of an old house before the school was built in the 50's. That area is very junky and so hard to hunt most other detector dudes avoid it. We almost always get silver or gold of some sort from this area. I wanted to go over to the football field to try for some gold class ring or something that I was sure was there. After about a half hour I headed back to Nancy to see how she was doing. She smiled and waved her hand at me. She was wearing a this gold ring she had snatched from the junk at 7 inches.

I decided to hunt with her at this point, ahem, and help her out. I did find a wierd button of some kind. Any ideas on what it is??

We hunted for an hour more before the April showers we have been having came back. I did get the gold plate FFA pin and about 4 bucks in change, along with an old make up case and a bunch of wierd relics, but Nancy smoked me again. She found the wheaty, 1941s, the Susan B dollar, and the penny token from Newport Oregon. And the Black Hills Gold man's ring.

It is about time we did something other than work!

Thanks for looking DC

Hey, I think the button is from Jamica... I seem to remeber that image because I have a couple jamican coins that seem to look like that! Nice finds. HH

Button could come from a band uniform, I know the uniforms we had, had the fancy buttons on. Way to go!
