We found a N.C. Camp this weekend....Lots of Brass!

Unfortunately it's from the WRONG WAR!

M16 blanks and training grenades. Those brass casings give a great signal, I often detect around the military posts and find those blanks everywhere. Should be some coinage around there as well, a lot of rolling around on the ground causes the change to fall out of the pockets. HH, Mike
 
This place is private land but the owner allows them to stage war games there. The reason we are in there is because there are probably a half dozen cellar holes and a few old mills in there. You're right...That brass sure sounds GOOD. And there's plenty of it! The good thing is the newest coin I have found in there is dated 1903. There's more of those in there too if you can just through the layer of brass these guys put down! :lol:
