We are having our first snow of the season as I type this.

24 to 30 in the mornings but it will be getting to the 50's by sunday. The garage is about finished except for the feed. I still have a winters work setting up the benches and such inside. I am gonna watch for insulation and maybe a heater but that is not really important at this time. The nice weather will be welcome as I have lots of yard work to get done before winter really sets in.

It hasn't gotten much below 60, even late at night, here yet. We have been having considerable & much needed rain, tho. Usually we get our first real 'norther'--an icy wind out of the north, usually accompanied by cold rain, sometimes (but not often, this early) sleet--sometime around Hallowe'en. If we get it before Hallowe'en we figure on a cold winter. If it doesn't come until after Hallowe'en the winter's usually pretty mild.
