Wayne, I have a question. When we post a story, are we to post it in the...............

regular spot like where I am asking this question, or are we to post the story directly in the little folder set aside for us? Kelley (Texas) :)
 
at the beginning of the title please insert the flag to indicate a new story and not a reply to another. Royal and i try to pick them out but miss them sometimes. I have been busy lately and do not get on here often enough.

Thanks Fred for helping to clear that up!

As you-all can see I have been somewhat confused by how to post and thought that perhaps posts asking about something were to go into general distribution with story posts into the "by Author" story section. When I noticed that Wayne had moved some of the posts into the "by Author" section and not others I became a bit more confused. I understand now that had I been placing all posts in the "by Author" section right along Wayne wouldn't have to move them and things would be fine.

I hope I understand it right now and will try to get it right next time.

Sorry Wayne for causing you so much extra work!!

we just try to make it an actual story up above and not too much ordinary gab. Each person can decide if they want it to be up as an actual story. Hey i'm really sorry that i did not make that clear to you folks. Some days i know i'm getting older and losing it:blink:
 
to determine whether it qualifies as a story....minimum number of words, pictures and etc.? Kelley (Texas) :)
 
personally i do not like to put up a story that is too short or does not have enough information but that is just me.
 
I can see where day to day commentary needn't be placed into the By Author Catagory such as a story of one of life's experiences and could be kept in the general grouping.

It helps to have some sort of boundaries to mantain order and reduce the wear and tear on Wayne who is doing a fine job considering the challenge of it all.

Also, if it is just a written story, no pictures, should it be longer than let's say a story with pictures? Kelley (Texas) :) :jump:
 
the reason is that unlike most Forums, no one here ever tries to stir the pot or do anything to make anyone yell...sorta all for one, one for all. Kelley (Texas) :)
