Waterproofing a minelab xterra.

Has anybody ever waterproofed a minelab xterra? I have been thinknig about waterproofing one but have no clue about how to start.

I don't know about an X-terra but check this CZ I saw on ebay that was converted....Looks Cool...

ikelite containers to my knowledge are pretty expensive... the whole setup is probably has a hefty cost.

I remember about 2 years ago or so, a guy over on Treasurenet waterproofed an ACE 250. A fair number of pics and pretty good description of the process as I recall. Might be worth a look.

Aqua Pac and some cable clams...All goes in a Backpack...been in upto chest hunting, no problems..other then the remote PP button did need replaced after a summer..saltwater seeped in the IP68 toggle switch from behind. Went with a momentary push button, and epoxyed from behind....

I did an Ace 250 and Whites Coinmaster.. An Xterra should be easy.
