Waterproof with notch?

Hi there!

I'd like to buy a waterproof detector for surf with notch disc. It seems that this combination is very rare. AT Pro has notch and is waterproof but are there any other machines?

Whites BHID has 3 notches with lights...low tone/red-iron....med tone/yellow-mid conductors....high tone/blue-high conductors....and in all metal - lights still id targets...but no low-mid-high tones. Not sure AT Pro would do well in surf - read they're excellent in freshwater - but single freq machines sometimes struggle with saltwater. Good luck with whatever ya decide to do!!

The Fisher CZ-21 has discrimination in click stops but not a true notch. You can knock out pull tabs and still get small gold that read as foil. Sometimes it's better than walking away from a totally tab infested area.

Thanks for the responses. BHID seems to be closest to what I am looking for. I have Garrett Seahunter MkII but am getting tired of digging it all to find out it was an old rusty nail... Also the places that I detect have lots of low value coins which I would like to avoid with notch. Unfortunately BHID's high tone also includes silver rings which are the most common type of jewelry where I hunt. I have to give this a lot of thought, thanks :)
