Waterproof uniprobe

What are the differences between the "waterproof" uniprobe and the headhunter PI?

Can the headhunter be fitted with a probe?

How much are the coils for the headhunter?

Can the waterproof uniprobe headphones be used on other detectors as the non-waterproof model can?

P.S. I forgot a letter in my user name and to know how to edit it.

thanks

Wow! Hey everybody, no need more need for this forum when when we can find all of the best deels and advice from the dealer websites as reccommended by Gatorguy.

I have been to that website and it does not exactly answer my questions. It does say that the underwater uniprobe is exactly the same as the headhunter PI but some experts on this form claim a bit different wiring and sensitivy but I am not sure exactly what uniprobe they are speaking of.

I also did not find a direct price for their coils but figure they want about $260.00 for them after you subtract the $80.00 price for the rod. However, that is more than I paid for my brand new "third party" 18" monoloop.

I also could not find if the waterproof model could be used as a regular headphone as the non-waterproof model can.

Although they are both PI circuits, they are different PI circuits. One was designed to be operated as a detector, the other to respond as in probing. One has a threshold audio as we are most accustom to hearing, the other doesn

The underwater Uni-Probe is the same circuit as the Headhunter PI detector.

It's the non underwater Uni-Probe that has a different circuit.

Sorry about that.
