Well my two and a half week old xterra 70, the stock coil which i use alot has got moisture in the coil, it still works but, now the numbers jump ballistic and the depth is horribly wrong. Now i get the see how well minelab supports its products.I have never submerged it, only washed it of with water when it got sandy etc. Really frustrating. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Before you assume moisture, make sure to remove the coil cover and clean out any sand or dirt. If mineralised, the sand or dirt sloshing around in the coil cover will cause erratic response like you are describing.
