I like to know when Minelab will be releasing their waterproof headphones. It is now summer and no headphones for the summer yet? They made a waterproof detector.

Jason in Enid said:They seem to be like the EQX800 roll-out. A few hit the market and then a LOOOONG pause. I'm on a waiting list and no idea when I'll get them. I'm also on the waiting list for GG phones, and waiting on a reply email from a guy in Florida who is making them.
I NEED a set of waterproof phones for this. As soon as I get about 3 foot deep in the water, the controller starts going under which kills the signal ( yeah I've been playing roulette with my BT-80 phones ) The worst part is getting a deep hole going, and I can't put the detector down closer.
Think I'm going to start packing my CTX or Excal for going farther out.

I seriously doubt the Equinox can match the performance of either one of those machines in the salt water.
I would have never bought my Equinox 600 had I had either one of those machines.
