Waterproof earphones for Excalibur

SERIC

New member
The lake floor that I attend is only made of stones. I have to continuously immerse then to move the stones and the water is cold for 10 months a year. I must therefore wear head a rubber cap which dampens much the headphones signal (Minelab Excalibur).
I would then replace the headphones with underwater earphones (3 meters) that can be worn under the hood. It exists as a replacement? Who sells them? different suggestions?
Thank you very much to those who want to answer me.

Might try ear buds. Here is a link to using the ear buds inside of the head set. Could also just wire ear buds to the cable and then use the earbuds under the rubber cap without the head phone parts.

What I do is take the rubber pads off and put some hook valcro on hold them to your hood, they are very close to if not against it and you can hear quite well. you can put the rubber pads back on over the valcro if you want them back.

Did these several years a go for a friend who hunts the ruff surf, he complained about his head phones always getting knocked off. I cut holes where his ears are and the transducer plate covers his ear.
