Waterproof coils for the Etrac??

What coils that fit the Etrac are waterproof? How about the 13" Ultimate, can it be submerged?

Ultimate coil is waterproof , all Ukrainian coils are too but have heard that they have had the odd leaker in the past, a mate had trouble with his Ultimate too but I think that may have been water getting into the cable area at the coil. Don't know about Coil tech coils , The Pro coil is but the old Explorer standard and Explorer 11 Standard coils are water resistant only but I have had them in the surf too . Anything with a resin construction should be waterproof .

The 13" Ultimate is not Water proof.....If you put silicone in the threaded screw part it helps....but I would not put it underwater...seen a couple go bad..just from wet grass !!!!!!!!!.....Killer coil..I think the best for E-trac

That would explain my mates dodgy Ultimate coil then .

Sometimes they will dry out and be fine......not mine though...AHHHH.........But ,I have aother..would not be with one.....Take it easy!!!

I have always preferred the Pro coil to the Ultimate , glad now I know the Ultimate is not waterproof .
