Waterproof blue headphones

Well, they were hard to find but Indian Nations Detectors had one of the few available pairs for the AT-Pro. Back ordered all over the place! A special thanks to Big Boys Hobbies, they really tried hard!

I used them for the first time this weekend thigh deep on a salt water beach. VERY different sounding from my DetectorPro Rattlers or the stock headphones. Sort of mellower with less dynamic range but all the volume you could ever want. I stuffed some cotton in them to help and will be putting some neoprene in this week.

Too bad the beach was newly sanded in with a vengeance unless you count all the new rust chips from the sunken ship off shore from the storm. But next weekend if plans allow it's back to the lagoon looking for clad and the elusive piece of jewelry. I'll be spending more time wading during the hot months this summer and now I can wade deeper without worrying about a misstep trashing my headphones. May also do a little snorkeling with it. Not dropping down just cruising the shallows where you could wade. I want to see if it works better. Don't worry, have a float and dive flag!

If you want a pair of these start looking around and get on a waiting list!

We'll make sure this puppy is water proof before the warranty runs out!

Wow...had no idea they were hard to come by. I bought a pair last summer from my local dealer. I tried them once....did not like the sound or volume (blew my eardrums out...they are crazy loud!). I wade up to about chest deep and just use the stock non-waterproof headphones. Well over 200 hours in the water and never had an oops. Maybe I'll have to list them in the classifieds....hmmm.

I went to Wall Mart in the ladies make up dept. & got a pair of sponge's that they use to take off make up. They are oval & fit in the ear cups just like they were made for them, works great for me.
