Waterproof Audio Surge 2G H2O Earbuds

I finally finished my project of making waterproof earbuds by using a pair of Audio Surge 2G H2O Earbuds. I wanted to see how they stood up so I took a dip in our heated pool for over an hour and all is good. The sound is amazing :) For those who was wondering if this can be done, it is possible and I wanted to share with ya'll.

That is great! I ordered one of those connectors. Do you happen to have the wiring diagram that you would share?

I would be interested in finding out where to order that connection too.

Here is the wiring diagram for the H2O earbuds. After I soldered the wires to the connector pins and tested that all is working, I used a bit of hot glue to "seal" in and cover the wires to the pins, this will keep them from getting wet if any water should get in. Barry BlisstoolUSA has the CTX waterproof connectors for sale.

You're the man

How is the cord on the Audio Surge 2G H2O Earbuds? Is it long enough to swing the detector without feeling like it is too tight?

Thanks... Does anyone have the link for these connectors? This is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.

Have done a couple and I feel they are to light weight for the surf, maybe drysand.
