Watermelon patch hunt...:smoke::minelab:

Did some chores this morning, split a cord of hickory wood for a local barbecue vendor. After all that I got the digging fever and since the weather was nice this afternoon I decided to head to a favorite spot close by. The old fairgrounds don't give up much anymore so I decided to hunt the watermelon patch that is next to the fairground. The garden is about an acre and a lot of bare ground was present since the foliage has died on the plants..Stayed in the patch for about an hour and came away with 1 Rosie, 2 Mercs, 1 Buffalo, some wheats, memorials and a brass item...Only hunted about a 1/3rd of it so needless to say I'll be heading back soon with the big coil ( was using the 4.5 x 7)....Not much trash in the ground so the U-13 should work great....

Thanks for looking.....................John

Nice assortment ... congrats !! :cheers:
