Definitely the US Air Force emblem. Which means the button was made sometime after the end of World War 2 ...because until 1946 (I think), that branch of the US armed forces was called the Army Air Corps. This emblem was not adopted until after the Air Corps was separated from the Army and renamed the US Air Force.
