Waterbury Button Co eagle

JimmyCT

Well-known member
Any idea to the age and do they have any value to them? Found them inside a glass jar with hundreds of other modern coat buttons. Thanks - Jim

I am not an expert, but they look like WWI or WWII, probably WWII??? Find someone with Albert's button book or search the internet for military eagle buttons by Waterbury and compare yours to theirs. The real old eagle buttons have a lot larger neck on the eagle. See some on relicman website

The Great Seal military buttons were made from 1902 to date, yours looks more modern. Lots of info on the net, hare is a good place to start http://www.waterburybutton.com/cart/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=4

Shafer and Larry I been on the site you two mention but couldn't find my exact design. Thank you Larry for the date range of the buttons. Looks like you may be right in your date assessment for the buttons I possess. - Jim
