Can you use the MXT in a creek or shallow water?
tks

The coil is water proof, but the LCD and control box are only "water resistant". They won't survive a dunking in the creek.

I use mine with a jimmy sierra hotfoot coil in shallow areas of local lakes with very good results. However once water geets in the stem DONT RAISE THE SHAFT HIGHER THAN THE CONTROL BOX,water can run up the shaft into the electronics and that's trouble.
