Water Truck............

Kelley (Texas)

New member
I spotted this water truck in Marion, Texas and found it interesting in that it appears to be watering the weeds along the highway.

The picture was taken with my Sony NEX-6 camera and a vintage Tokina 35-200mm F4-5.6 zoom lens at the following settings: F8, 1/1250, ISO 200, Daylight white balance, manual focus, Manual Mode, harsh mid day lighting conditions. This lens is a keeper.

While it feels great getting out in the field again, I need to use caution as the four hours in the heat on Tuesday did take a toll on me, zapped my strength to a certain degree. Kelley (Texas) :)

What to say... another great shot. You're very well talented. This photo shows a wonderful scenario, could be from a hollywood movie. Excellent.:clapping:

I love every bit of that photo Kelley. The train, grain bins, beautiful sky in the background really make it a beautiful photo. Big thumbs up!!!

Fred,
That is a great picture,,, I love the way the truck leads you into the picture...
I like the color of the sky...
Could the water truck be spraying the weeds or just plain water to keep them from catching fire....

was spraying water, but several folks suggested that it might be spraying weed killer. Spraying weed killer makes more sense. Kelley (Texas) :)
