Water Proof detector

Circle C Digger

New member
Looking for advice on a water proof detector. Been doing a lot of detecting in creeks and lakes. The BeachHunter ID sounds like a good choice. However, the Minelab Excalibur also looks good. I would appreciate any comments about the BeachHunter.

Thanks

The BeachHunter will do very well in lakes and ponds etc.
For salt water get a PI detector.
I waterproof a classic 1 and did ok with it.
Go to www.firstontop.com to look at what i did to it.
Click on the metal detector info.
Let us know what detector you get.
Hope this helps.:detecting::twodetecting:
