It got up to a balmy -10C today so I had to get out for a couple of hours late this afternoon. I headed to a large snow hill, just bustling with snow rats going down the hill on their new boards, toboggans and carpets. And they also lost a few coins too.

Now thats a pic! Seems a little warm spell up that way......Ha

Merry Christmas to you too John!

No more waiting for the thaw when the AT PRO is an all-season heater.

How about a close up of a Loony and a Toonie for us travelers? Better yet, show us all the coins in circulation and of new mint.

I am all for that. It is always fun to find them though. I find about 4 or 5 in a whole year.

We need to get more people here in the states using the $1 coin so they can lose them.

Only way that will happen is if they get rid of the dollar bill. Has been talk of it in the past his they would make it happen.

The dupes won't spend them. They hoard them as if they are rare and valuable which they ain't. Over a billion have been minted. Over the past few years I have recovered about fifty of them and they are all the same year. A few have been silver instead of gold colored. I contacted the Mint to see why some were silver but it seems to be a big secret but nevertheless I discovered a method to turn the gold ones to silver in about a minute. The gold must be applied after they are minted. The silver ones are much prettier. I have given some away here on the forum in my contests. Maybe now that Xmas is over with it's time to run another contest and give one away or one of my Mint Kennedy halves. What do ya all think???

Yeah and they need to make a five dollar coin or at least a two buck coin and cease making them the size of a quarter. Only in America would they make a dollar coin that looks like a quarter but no more than our money is worth it fits.
