I use a Tesoro COrtes. Work well..
Will it damage the coil if I get it wet, For example can I use the coil in about 6" of water ?
Of course I realize the electronics are not waterproof
I would like to work in very low water ( fresh Water)
I know my old whites it was OK to do this..

Hi J. as far as I know, ALL coils are waterproof.
It will be fine to use in fresh water, as long as you keep the control box and plug dry <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">
