I am considering getting a water machine, I will be doing mostly fresh water hunting.
I am cosidering a Tiger Shark or the cz20. Those of you that use these machines I would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks

Jeff

I have had a tesoro stingray and it was Great in the fresh water, but I did not like it at all in the salt water. It was really great for finding REALLY SMALL things that would not stay in your sand scoop. But for opening the control box to make changes to the settings. I did not like that part AT ALL.
Fisher CZ 20 I have not had any direct experence with. But I have had expenence with the CZ-6 and I am keeping that FOREVER... I have heard that the CZ 20 is really simular to the CZ 6 in many ways. All the control on the outside not subject to sand and whatever else happens to be Airborne. Really Great detector.

Like Waterdog, I have a Stingray II that I use everyweek...very dependable, great in trashy areas...and a killer warranty. I also own a CZ-20 that I use just in salt water..again, very dependable, built like a tank, killer warranty. Pretty big price differance between the two...key is, just like waterdog advised, if you plan on doing ANY salt water detecting...do not try the Tesoro...BUT if you are only going to be in fresh, you CANNOT beat the tesoro. I use the Stingray at the beach, in the dry sand, with the Ceansweep coil...very efficient, works great. Good luck, Kieth-Tx
