Is the two beach presets for salt water only or is it used for inland lake (fresh Water

Those can be.....but the other modes could be a better choice since they will operate in the fresh water. Depends on what you are looking for. Take into consideration the weighted algorithms...and remember they have a salt setting and only operate in multi freq.

Field 2 has great depth.... do some disc on the gold mode not bad either.

The salt water beach setting weigh more the lower frequencies on the NOX, I would test trial (silver/gold/coins) targets at the actual location and determine which setting is best for the specific location. Also check to see if a single frequency is better than multi in your location and for the specific targets in mind. I have to say that I find the difference between Park 1 and Park 2 in hitting targets amazing, sometimes.

Ok thanks. I only do fresh water here in Michigan, lol, No salt, no sharks..
