Water Hunting with the AT-Pro

Boydman

New member
Well the temps here in Mo. are in the ninety's so it's time to try a little water hunting. Not planning any underwater just wading the creeks. If anybody has any good tips I would like to here them. Thanks and HH. Pat

Not knowing what the creeks in Mo. are like, I can only say that the water will feel good on a hot day!! Be prepared to scoop a lot of trash targets and hopefully some good ones. Be sure and wear some good gloves to protect your hands and some good water boots to protect your feet. Slather on plenty of sunscreen, the glare from the water can burn you quick and skin cancer is no fun. I've had 3 surgeries already and they are no fun and chicks do not dig scars!!

Make sure you have a light silicone lubricant on the "O" ring for both the coil & headset plug. Make sure they are firmly in place, not cross-threaded and go for it. Dig lots, as all sorts of interesting things end up in creeks. From my own experience, coins, belt buckles, old metal cigarette cases, old fishing tackle and so on.
