Water Hunt Today

I got in a nice water hunt today. It was a bit cold with frost on the ground when I headed out but the colours of the leaves and a bright sunny day made it fun to be out. There was a strong wind but lots of targets kept me busy so I didn't notice the chill, I was too busy..

Got a good amount of coins and lots of rings today, including one 925 silver and two 10k rings. Also got a 1968 silver quarter, the last year we had silver coins and the only year they were just 50% silver. But...I'll take it! :)

Here's the loot for the day, the Tiger Shark did me proud.

GEEWHIZZ Scott....why don't you just punch us all in the gut...9 rings!!!..great haul on the loot too. That must have been an non-hunted beach all summer...hope you can get back to that one before it gets too cold, got to be more to be found....cool weather is just wishful thinking down south here...AC blasting day and nite still..GL

Very nice Scott. On the average, how deep were you hunting?

Nice finds, but the 1968 quarter is not silver, unless it has an S mintmark. Not even sure they minted silver proof sets in 1968. The halves from 1965- 1969 were 40% silver. But great finds.

mrowdy...... same thing i was thinking. Most except for the PROOF were copper nickel. Take a good look at the side of that coin since its rare a proof coin gets into circulation see if its sandwitched. You just killed the finds thou.... outstanding ring count.

Canadian quarters were silver until 1968. Very nice finds, especially the rings.
