I'll be going out of state for a couple days chasing an old resort and a couple other sites that have to be accessed by boat. If I have time I'll try and take advantage of the low water levels on some beaches. It's been a LONG time since I've dug any "under water" type coins and if I remember right the silvers will have the black crud but that'll come off fairly easy so no problem. If I remember right the coppers come out real crusty and pretty much toasted. My question would be how do the nickels come out from being under fresh water? Are they even worth chasing? Time is limited on this hunt.......

Thanks!!!!!

Go for it and never know but most coins are bad shape! When the river is very low and I found green pennies and 1964 black dime! Beware of reading target number might be little off but dig anyway!

I understand your short time...... BUT! don't you want to dig gold rings?
Sound's like a fun time........Good Luck!
