Tried some night hunting last night. Got to the beach at sunset and hit the water with the Xcal, but the stiff sea breeze never let up, and I could only go one direction with the incoming waves which I endured till 9:30 before giving up..... total of 76 cents and a earring.

At the beach at sunup this morning using the Xterra 705/HF DD elliptical.......Lots of activity this past week with the great weather, too bad we didn't have this for the previous Easter weekend. Clad was to be had right from the moment I turned the MD on, $16.62 total. First jewelry find was a 14k 3.6g band in real bad shape. It's either cut or the weld broke and a stone is missing. TID was a jumpy 4,6,8.
The "Alex and Ani" bracelet was a disappointment, looking like a nice gold find till I saw the A&A brand....never found one of their charms yet that was gold or silver!! I did find a 925 charm that has a horsehead on it. Also found a Fitbit ($99.99) &%$#*&^%....not sure if their is a resale or owner ID on these it's the first one I ever found and an E Cig with some vanilla flavor in it. Not pictured are the 3 Coronas and 2 limes....Chilling, or the 2 packs of Marlboros.... gave one pack to the cabana guy and the other to the parking lot attendant on my way out. GL ALL

Gotta love the Spring Break drops! guy never knows what he will find! Smokes, beer, cell phones, towels, all sorts of riff raff! Good Hunting, nice stack of loot there Bob!

Good hunt with that kind of clad total and yellow!...I was out last night too, no where near the clad count but did manage some yellow myself..... about two weeks ago I found my first Alex and Ani bracelet and found mine retailed for $28....they do make some gold and silver plated ones..... It was a let down after finding it....

Congrats on the gold and clad...

Nice assortment of finds in that outing.
Check those empty cigarette pack as they could hold
$ bills as lots of people don't bring there wallets to the beach.

Great Haul!!! Love the beach too - have found hundreds of dollars tucked into cigarette packs - the machine picks up the foil - you think it's a waste of time until you dig into the pack itself - love folded up $20 bills! Good luck out there!

SandBandit

Nice finds! especially the ring! gold is gold!! Like sandbandit, I'm always on the lookout for paper bills rolled up and stuffed in cigarette packs and other containers. I found a large roll of $20 bills wrapped up with a rubber band and a drivers license. The owner ended up being out there in the surf with his son so he was a lucky guy that day! I returned it to his wife who was on the beach taking pic's of both of them.
