I think I'd second what NamVetLes says in your thread at Detecting in the Surf. You will also want to get some good shoes, like some sort of dive boot with a good treaded sole. And unless you plan to always just go into warm water and aren't bothered by jelly fish, a wet suit of some sort.

Yea a "Farmer John" style for summer,I have a light weight one, and for the winter I use a drysuit, fleece under stay nice and warm.
As far as deep underwater, yes. 200 feet, the detector is the best in the business.you can not go wrong.
