Need help finding a good pair of water boots!

Water LL here is down and want to hit it before wealthier changes.

Need help on which water boot would be good for lake hunting?
Something with a good or decent sole. Thanks again with the reply and opinions.

Just bought a pair of Neosport Explorers. Out 3 times with them so far and love them. Had a pair of " Deep See" that did not last long and they were leakers.

Hi boxtopp,

I'm pretty much moving to the NRS line entirely and use these currectly, since about '09....not on my 1st pair of course.

I like to use them in conjunction with these too,

No blisters and no sand in my shoes!

The thing about NRS that is SO sweet is if you have an issue their customer service is KILLER! They send postage return labels with ever order, so if you have an issue it does not cost you send it back or if a stitch pops loose generally they replace the item! If they make it and I can use it, I wear it...PERIOD!

Got a pair4 of Red Head neoprene -zip boots 8-10 yrs ago for: warm weather fishing, beach collecting & MDing. Still have them. They work well and were only $12 from one of the -mart stores.
Like them better than the wading boots with the ports-much less sand intrusion.

I've been using the NRS wetshoe for a number of years. . Has a great supportive sole that allows stepping on a shovel or sand scoop.

I've been going barefoot all summer, but I think I'll spring for those NRS and a 7 mil suit or two to get me through the winter up here...todays the first day I put shoes on since May, and my feet have gotten so wide from walking miles of sand, I cant hardly get them on! A fellow certainly needs the right gear for this, stepping on just one broken bottle bottom will shut a guy down for a long time! They are out there in the cuts we get in the Fall when the waves blow out the sand right down to the hardpack, been lucky so far, but not for long I think...Great post and great replies!:clapping:.
