Water Boots, Need better support.

ToniSteve

New member
Hello,
Any ideas for water boots with good support. The Doc says I am giving my self a case of plantar fasciitis if I keep wearing the flimsy diving booties or tennis shoes. Already got a mild case.

Kind Regards,
Steve

I use both styles Sunrays & Stealth, for cold water. Great support! They have heels, when you walk flat footed you stretch your calf which in turn fatigues you.
Plus they are wide. http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/CategoryID_983/Context_980/Sort_Stock/DescSort_0/Filter_1%3d929/SSTBS.html?Hit=1

I need a pair of those to with the heel and hard bottom but have a hard time finding a wide enough boot.I've looked but can't find em. Seems like everybody has skinny ass feet but me..

I use these and other guys i know use them as well, they are the best for support too http://www.shoebuy.com/lacrosse-alpha-lite-18-35mm/210731/460769?cm_mmc=frooglelist-_-none-_-none-_-none

Tonisteve, I use the Leisure Pro Blue Reef Utlra 5MM $26 Bucks, In the summmer for the winter i use 3MM Chest waders with built in boots Hodgman brand $79 Bucks, Mickfin,

Gel inserts pretty much cleared up the heel pain I would get with the dive boots. Can also get thicker heal cushions that raise the heel more than the full length gel inserts do.
Good luck in finding what works for you!

Thanks everyone!

Kind Regards,
Steve

They last forever are are super comfortable with great arch support and a tough sole for digging with. No sand gets in which is a real bonus.
