WATER between the LCD and faceplate?

Dream Catcher

New member
I was hunting on a sports field last night. The grass had just been cut so I picked up a lot of grass and dirt. I went home and hosed off the coil and control box. I was using a waterproof headphone jack. I took it in the house and noticed water between the faceplate and LCD. I turned it on an it still works. This am the water was gone... I suppose I have a leaker? Anybody else experienced this?? This will the second vacation my AT will be taking to Texas... Rats.

Send it to Garrett for the upgrades and they will restart the 2 year warranty from that point on. They will look after you.

had the same thing twice.....Garrett set me up...havent had a problem since...Like John said .give em a call

It seems to be working OK. I think I'll keep going and if I don't have any other problems I send it back when the weather changes. If it quits working... I'll send it for the up-grade package. Anyhow, I still think this is a great machine, but more improtantly, Garrett has been TOP-KNOTCH standing behind the problems.
