Water at 45F and still detecting

Water was 45F here in CANADA today,but dint mind the cold water if there gold to be fund,

got lucky today with a 14k 6.2 gram white gold ring and 2 silver quarter.
 
You need to do a trip south, went surfing here yesterday, water temp @ 79 degrees, felt kinda chilly at first, compared with the 84 degree summer temp.
 
That's a long drive to play in a bathtub, Tex! Here in Calif. we have a nice compromise of water temp and year around access. Plus no hurricanes!
