Water and turf finds with my ATP

This post is in praise of the ATPro's abilities more than the actual finds. The small .925 stud earring and the thin broken bracelet attest to how sensitive it is to small targets. There wasn't much in the small freshwater swimming areas I hunted but the pro found what was there.
Then yesterday on a hunch I checked a wooded hillside in a 100 year old park. I call this sampling when I follow up on a hunch. The wooded hill areas looked like a trash dump in most spots. Picking the merc out with the 5"x8" coil was easy and it was barely below the surface. The sterling ID plate (11.6 grams) from a bracelet was down almost 5" near junk and iron. The simplicity and good power of the ATP endears it to me. I have quite few choices and my more expensive detectors aren't getting much swing time. The ability to go hunt a park, decide its too hot and humid then take off for a lake or river with this detector makes it an adventure machine. The couple of people (novices) who bought one on my recommendation come back to say how happy they are.
Everything here was found with that small coil and utilizing pluggers straight shaft.

Three nice silvers, YT! I agree, the AT's versatility, separation and ease of use are at least as important as the raw depth that some folks obsess over. Thanks for posting your finds! (I've found a couple of jacks lately, too, heh).

Nice batch of finds Bruce! I'm with you on the AT's. I have a more expensive (Brand X) water machine that's been on dry land in the closet since I started using my ATG.

Really nice work! :clapping: You are of course right...the Pro gives a fellow the feeling hes good to go up against anything anywhere...allterrain/allweather capability sure add a lot more time to a Life.

Those are some nice finds. WTG...I love the pro audio and the way you can hear if other targets are in with the trash. I like that model car, I haven't found one in that good a condition before.

Hi Bruce. Very nice haul of goodies you have there, good for you and yes the AT series work amazing eh. I pulled a .925 earring last year at a lake in about waist deep of water, it was probably 6" or so down. Very similar in square pattern with a single I believe cut glass diamond. Definitely they pick up on the smallest target. Yesterday pulled a really old .925 pendant with 13 small and one large stones, possible diamonds and some other gemstone(will be posting it over the next few days with the other findings) from the St. Lawrence river, it was real deep and the GOLD had zero problem finding it.

Thanks for sharing your cool finds.
