Gold and silver prices are dropping like a lead balloon.

Yep, what a huge difference between the precious metal market prices of a few months ago and today. When you come to sell your gold and silver articles, it makes you think twice about doing the transaction! I really hope the markets pick up soon.

I think back to April 28th, 2011 when silver was over $48.00 an ounce!

Costs $21 to $22 to extract silver from the ground $1000 to $1500 for gold. What's wrong with this story?

Not that I wouldn't change if I could...But it seems like my life's strategy, whether in stocks, precious metals, housing, etc. has always been BUY HIGH - SELL LOW(er)! :surrender:

I always relied on time to be my friend in these situations but now I'm older...:yikes:

Well the only reason that the metals market is in such a query right now is over the government stimulus monies. The government has stopped (so far) releasing these stimulus checks out to the public and the market is seeing that as less spendable money in the hands of the general public. Same thing happen back in the day when welfare was started. But just hold on to those metal right for now because this market upset will only be short lived.

There is so much being written right now as to whats going on in the metals market, I cant keep up with or understand most of it..it seems that theres more afoot than just simple supply and demand economics.., theres geopolitical events, hedge funds, world govt situations regarding debt. pensions etc. all rolled up into it..plus the crazy amount of Cash for Gold places that do or could have some form or linkage to major refiners that supply somebody somewhere with the cheap bought stuff...some say that if you have PM's you better hang on and hope when this (paper gold values)washes out, and it could real fast, the physical will go back up in a major way...I don't know at this point, I cant think straight anymore.
