watching an attempted ring recovery on the webcam!

I checked the local Craigslist 'lost and found' like usual, and a guy posted a lost ring at a certain location not 4hrs ago, 200.00 reward! :drool:...

just so happens I know that location has a live beachcam feed, so I'm sitting here watching two guys out in the surf hunting for it...I can see the distraught loser on the beach waiting...evidently he was not quite sure of where he lost it or they woulda hit it by now...I'm gonna keep watching and taking note of where they are hunting and maybe go and get it tomorrow am if they dont find it first! sorta cool, thought all y'all beach hunters would get a kick out of this! Happy 4th!

They are still out there! Of course the guy knew RIGHT where he lost it! :rofl:

MD...Its over...I cant tell if the guys found it or not...that damned webcam re focuses itself and only hits that stretch every 5 minutes or so..one minute they were there, and now they are gone..so they either found it or gave up for the night...it was Grand Haven Beach Cam up here in Michigan...I check it mainly for the surf conditions, even really early, a guy can see how the lights on the pier reflect off the Lake to know what the surf conditions are...

Yeah, Fongu....there was all sorts of guys out looking before the sun came up, somebody would have HAD to find it!...that webcam is great to see whats going on, as of right now, theres gotta be 3thousand people or more on this beach...I'll hit it tomorrow super early...:thumbup: But I bet there will be guys out there starting at around 2am, if the beach cops dont run them off...I hate hunting this beach, but I do anyway..:rofl:

Cool story Mud! I checked out that cam, too. Looks like some dude is already out detecting the beach this morning. And what's the story with that red building on the end of that pier, or whatever? I'd like to check that out in person! Any good fishing close by?
