Went detecting yesterday for two hours found a weatherbird shoes watch fob , my first fob. There is one just like it on ebay. I also found about $1.25 in change.:poke:
 
Congrats on the nice hunt! I would really like to see a picture of the fob! I have yet to find one, good job, Beale.
 
I am new to forum and how to operate things on forum give me a couple weeks and I will have picture. I didn' t even know what it was until mike on another forum told me there was some weatherbird shoe items on ebay. So I looked it up and sure enough the fob on ebay was just like what I had. Betty on the same forum told me what it was used for also. I have been detecting for a few years, but still have a lot to learn. I was using a bh sharpshooter II until just a few months ago I purchased the x-terra 50. Whole different detecting world now. I am always ready to listen and learn.:minelab:
 
Okay, here's my first attempt to post pics. If this doesn't work, I'm going to need some help! :p Front and back views of my newest find!! Can anyone tell me how old it is? The front says peters weatherbird shoes.
 
That is a very cool fob! Great picture also! I would be happy as heck with that, great hunt, Beale.

Hey, I realize this is an old post, but I found one of these awhile back. I didn't know what I had until I got around to cleaning it up the other day! There is one on ebay right now and they're starting out at 55.00! I'm not really sure, but from the research that I did, it looks to be from the 20's. Happy Hunting!!

Thanks for the information , I seen the one on ebay. If someone wanted mine i would sell it for 40 dollars.
