In 1628 the Wasa (Vasa) was a Swedish ship that sank to the bottom within 20 minutes of her maiden voyage. At the time she was the biggest, baddest, most ornately decorated 64 cannon war ship in the world (however short lived). One thousand master craftsman worked on building her for over three years.
She was raised about 40 years ago after lying on the bottom for 333 years and is now a museum. If you would like to read this amazing story an find out why she sank and see photo's of her today, click on the links at the bottom (no pun intended). ~ Man, I just kill me. The Swedes also built the Titanic. Note to self: Never go on ships built by Swedes.
