pictures. Off this side of the house its pretty much yellow birch mixed in and some maples. Not really colorful yet but figured I'd try to stitch them together so you can see off my back porch. Actually its my rifle range through the hole in the rock wall off the porch but figured I'd see what kind of picture it made. I'm sure it will be wide. It was pretty overcast also.

Nice picture! I love messing with panoramas. What program did you use to stitch it together?

Panorama Perfect Lite. It has a free version that really is easy to use and does a decent job. Very small program, quick download and pretty slick. Here is the link to them. http://www.volny.cz/panopohanka/index.htm

The light was all wrong but I figured I'd try it anyhow just to post something for a change. If all goes well for Heidi Thursday then I'll be out gathering pictures and geocaches. Perfect for it so far.

I darkened your pic a little. I don't know as though it is any better but [attachment 107672 fall2008yard.jpg]

Actually, I have one too. On the other side of the river is a 300 foot bank of clay/sand. I set up at 200 yards and sight in. Very convenient and close. How much land do you have?? We have 20+ acres and about 100 that we have access to for our own use. One day, we MAY try to buy all or part of that acreage.
