Was out for about 3 hours and found this...I luvmyetrac

I was out today in an historic area that was settled in 1805 here where I live.

This field is owned by the city and has been pounded by literally hundreds of metal detectorists over the years. I see them there quite often and was not sure if I would find anything at all.

I started swinging the E-trac and was getting a lot of iron nulling and every once in a while a nice sound.

Here are what those nice sounds were....... 1 gold ring, 1 silver ring, $6.25 in clad quarters, $4.30 in clad dimes, 1 1905 V nickle, a diamond and sterling silver pierced earing....yes they are real diamonds....had a pro look at them......three Indian head pennies......I am soaking them right now so they are not in the photo....a 1979 Susan B........

and.....a very nice silver and painted ivory hanging pendant from the 1800's. Even the hangar wire was silver. I had a professional jeweler look at it and was told that he would buy it for $325.00.

It is very ornate and I found it down about 13 inches. It was in an iron infested area. I thought that this area was hit so hard that I would find nothing. The local masons have a building that was built in 1835 at one end of the field and many of the masons have metal detectors and have hit this field hard.

The key chain must have been rather new as I'm sure that in the 1800's....anyone with a key chain saying what it says would be stoned to death I'm sure!

I've yet to hit the whole area and only a small area I was able to cover today. Will be going back.

Here's the loot......and by the way...the E-Trac is "THE MACHINE"

Great finds on a pounded site. Gold and Silver with diamonds!!!
