Was in the woods. Thought this was only an Indian Head cent.

But to my surprise it turned out to be a Flying Eagle cent, 1857. Shows a lot of wear, was in circulation a long time, but no corrosion, the soil was good to it. This is only my second one since I started detecting in the 1970's and so this penny is a very rare find for me. The old bicycle horn was found in the same woods, the rubber bulb rotted away but still a nice find. I'm done with that wooded area, the soil is loose sand, everything including modern soda cans are deep. Jabbo
