Was hunting a sidewalk strip today. Got a high tone

coin signal. First the gold elephant earing came out, I thought the high tone couldn't be from the earing. I dug a little more and out came a copper memorial. Thought I was gonna dig a dime, I try not to dig pennies, but this was my lucky penny for sure. A little later I thought I had a dime or quarter signal, it was the silver Jesus ring, another nice surprise. A few days ago I dug the buckle and the IH penny in a corn field and a Merc dime in a sidewalk strip. Got about 7 - 8 ticks on me from the cornfield hunt, no more woods or tall weeds till next winter. Any one know what kind of buckle this is. It's the first one I found that isn't broken or bent. Was using the CoinStrike.

Nice finds, could be a colonial knee buckle... or shoe buckle.
It isn't very often they are found complete, usually only the outer frames are left. very nice.

Hay Jabbo can't help with the buckle, but the ticks maybe, Got this spray last year for tick , did some research on repellants and the stuff with really works fantastic, it was developed for the US & CAN. military, second year using it and NO ticks at all spray on your clothes not the skin, used it when I was in the army (40yrs), last on your clothes for 4 washing, I have a set I use but I don't wash them to often just retreat them and been tick free. here's the site its worth checking out
check the data they have and the videos. Don't PUT IT ON YOUR SKIN, i put the normal stuff on my face for gnats and ETC.
