...I went over Lake Huron way-went down a road that runs along the Au Sable river....I stopped at a small beach along the road...NOT A SOUL IN THE WATER-IT WAS NOON,AND THE WATER WAS OH-SO-WARM!!!bottom line;Tomorrow morning 6:00a.m:I am headed for that beach-AND;I talked to a guy that owns one of those canoe rental places-He gave me a good dozen names of access spots to detect...AND;I am hittin the beach at Oscoda;too....My foot feels pretty good;I talked to the people that take care of my disability-its comin the end of next week....I figure if Im careful;and walk slow;I will be all right-Besides;it might be good therapy for my hoof!!!

yes-as a matter of fact;when I was leaving that beach this morning and there was a guy just pulling in that had waders on that was gonna do some fly-fishing...I found about $4.00 in modern change;and the remains of a necklace-I had a small painted turtle swimming around keeping an eye on me;and a Canadian goose was on the beach keeping me company,and,BOY!!!Was that water NICE!!!Got nice and wet-my foot let me know I was walking around on it a little too much;so Im taking it easy until Monday-then;Im going over to Rifle River Rec Area-2!!beaches-Going back home from my in-laws Wednesday;Back to the Dr on the 23rd.....
