Was going out to the shed to get the ice chopper and VA--BOOM shock wave and house parts flying over the tree tops.

looking over the side of the meadow I could see house parts flying over the trees.I was running back to the shop to get the camera and I see my new neighbors dog ran across the meadow with he's tail in between his legs so I stopped and called him and he ran over to me shaking like a leave.Seeing how Charlie leaves he's dog inside in the cold days this was not a good sign.I was going to get the camera and a little rope to hold the dog.The blast made a can of stain fall on the floor so I took a few hand full of saw dust and put it on the mess,grabbed the camera and dog to see what happened.The dog really didn't want to go home and I ended up dragging him down the sidewalk.Charlie house was still here but missing alot of the windows.The house next door was on fire [what was left of it].When to take some photos and dang I forgot I was charging the battery's and were back at the shop.Watching them put down the fire I see Charlie pull into his driveway so I dragged the dog over .Charlie grabbed the dog and we when inside the house.Other then a few things broken things around the house and the windows the place was OK.I went back out to watch they put the fire out.Went back to the shop cleaned up the mess and chopped the ice.Other than that it was just another Tuesday.

coincidence or just plain bad luck?this is the second fire since they arrived and everyone knows things happen in threes.i hope all works out for the homeowners.:sad:

They're repaired and back in they're creates.A friend came over with a real good camera and with took hundreds of photos,wait for him to give me some copy's.They only been here for two weeks and now the grounds hard as a rock and fires,they should be out of town by sun down Friday.I didn't have the TV on last night did the house make the news? I'll go over there and got some after shots of the house and the houses next door to the place.If Hank from the depot[relic] forum got back to me we would of been in the meadow behind Charles seeing if with could brake ground.As far as I know that meadow has never been detected because the people that lived there wouldn't let any one out there.So when Charles moved in I when over with a bottle of wine and a welcome to the neighborhood.Told him he should get that meadow cut be for it over grows.And he did but it snowed be for I could get over there.I may have to wait till spring now.I know that meadow goes back to the 1660's and should be full of good finds.But with them devils around the storm just keep coming,one on Friday and another on Sunday looks like a spring hunt now.Good thing Hank didn't get back to me,we would of had a real blast.

well the gas hangs low and it blew the town away and killed I forget how many folks now.. but that was strange to see
