Warthog and the Turkeys: an unlikely friendship............

We have a huge number of wild turkeys here in Montague, and right now,the toms are looking for hen companions....They do their mating dance:Feathers fluffed out,and doing their strut........We seen a tom in a field this morning doing his thing, and when I put down the window and gobbled at him,he turned toward the car, gobbled back VERY loudly, and started our way. Tom turkeys are VERY terrirorial this time of year;and if they think a strange tom turkey is trying to get some of his harem of hens,he is ready to fight,to defend his property.I have had them come to within 10 feet of me,when I gobble at them. You can tell, they are none too happy,also...................God's creatures,AMAZING!!!:clapping::lol:

So...let me get this straight. Your saying you're sort of a turkey and have this urge to yell out the car window at other guys, who just happen to be turkeys? Okay...to each his own.
