Folks I had a bad experience on the big detector site. There was a Thread started by a new member from Ukraine (or so he claimed?) He had pictures of his finds, an amazing coin spill with beautiful pictures of his countryside. When you clicked on the pictures to enlarge them you were taken to a porn site of the worst kind. My Blood is still boiling over this. I reported him and the Thread was immediately taken down, and I am sure he is most likely banned.

I am sharing this bad experience that I have never ever had before with all the years being online, because it could happen here and anywhere. Be careful when clicking on anything online.

the big detector site? Sorry your life was changed by seeing naked people doing the naughty. Hope you recover, sounds like it was pretty traumatic for you.

LittleJohn it was a CHILD MOLESTER SITE!

Thanks for the warning Scanman. Unfortunately for us, its impossible to tell where a link will take you until its too late.

a tip that could help you in the future is to hover your mouse above a hyperlink, then look in lower left of your screen. it should show the name of the website there.

this example shows what the reply button links to.

Thanks for the warning. Kids use site like this many times with parents permission since they have a true interest in the pastime.

Good advice, and I do that when I am suspicious of a link, I was was expecting the picture to be enlarged and never guessed It was a trick, but in hindsight the coin spill picture was too outrageous to be legit.
